Health Capacity is an exiting Swedish Start-up located in Helsingborg, Sweden. Our mission is to identify social problems and create solutions that change and improve peoples life. POOW - The Food Hero is one of our solutions to a social problem existing all over the world. The problem of children in the age between 2-5 who have a hard time eating which results in a stressful mealtime situation for the whole family. A problem related to this is the pressure and demand on parents to cook healthy and variated food for their children. This is a very energy and time-demanding process and if it isn't taken seriously it can potentially affect the health of the whole family for a considerable future. So, how are we solving this problem?
Via an application for smartphones and tablets, the application is via gamification helping children to eat more and better food while the children at the same time is learning about nutrition. The application is also providing families with healthy and easy-to-cook recipes that will activate the whole family. The result is a peaceful and interactive mealtime situation for all family members as the children will eat the food since they are aware of what they eat. The parents can also relax knowing that the food on the table is healthy and nutritious both for them and their children. We also want to mention that POOW is very effective for children with ADHD and autism who are struggling with a selective eating disorder.
Your job would be to expand our business to Norway by investigating if there is any potential for POOW- The Food Hero in Norway.
Job Title: Business Developer
Location: Helsingborg, Sweden /Your City, Norway.
Period: 3-6 months, we are very flexible!
Education: Ongoing/ Finished Bachelor/Master in Business Management/Marketing/ Finance/Communication/Technology
Experience: It´s an extra plus if you have worked in a Start-up before or if you have run your own company. Your main skill should be within International business development. Meaning that you have the tools to market products, grow business and establish contacts in Norway.
Language: Norwegian (Native) English (Fluent) Basics in Swedish and Spanish is a big plus :)
So what will you do?
Create and implement strategies to establish POOW on the Norwegian market
Create a network with important stakeholders
Look for potential partners/collaborators
Create marketing materials/strategies
Manage social media
Travel in Norway and Europe to grow the company
And much more, you will pretty much run your own company within the company but with support from our team.
You will during your internship get the chance to become an entrepreneur and run your "own" company in Norway. This means a lot of freedom under responsibility. The outcome of the internship is in your hands, it´s up to you how much you want to develop and learn during your internship with us. Previous interns have really appreciated their time with us since it helped them to take their first entrepreneurial steps. We are positive to a continuation after the internship if both parties would be happy with the results etc.
