Gungnir of Norway is a start-up that develops and produces high-quality training equipment, with a significant international focus. The company's first product is an Olympic barbell with a built-in collar for securing weight plates. The patented design has priority in the largest markets in all continents, and the company has already distinguished itself internationally.

Our new CEO enters the company in a period of growth where international commercialization is central. The main task of this role will be to lead the company further through this global expansion. We are looking for a CEO with solid financial competence, and this will be one of your areas of responsibility. At the same time, you need to lead the company at a strategic level and plan with a good overview for further growth.

Four of the six team members are part of the management team. The areas of responsibility cover the following fields; business development, product design/development, internal and external production, purchasing, corporate sales, e-commerce, marketing, etc.

Your work tasks

• Overall financial and financial management for the company

• Lead and plan for an exciting and rapidly growing international phase.

• Establish and maintain a strong company structure to safeguard employees and the company's ambitions for development, growth, and scaling

• Establish flexible work processes that allow for further expansion of the product portfolio and ensure the company's structure and profitability

Qualifications

• Higher education in economics, business development, or other relevant direction

• Relevant management experience

• Experience from a company or organization in the growth and commercialization phases is desirable.

• International business experience is considered beneficial

• Background from work in economics/finance, business development, project management, or strategy processes is deemed to be beneficial

• Opportunity to travel abroad in primarily commercial contexts

• Fluent in Norwegian and English, written and oral

• Experience from hiring processes is deemed to be beneficial
