Founded by a team of early employees in Pleo, we know what it takes to go from zero to traction. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced VC-funded startup as the first commercial hire.
At Weld we put out customers first and we're looking for a hands-on sales professional to help us grow the business.
Data warehouses like Snowflake and BigQuery are becoming the standard place to centralize all customer data, since they have become affordable and highly performant.
Built on top of modern data warehousing, Weld is a business software tool for small- and mid-sized companies to become truly data-driven. We provide state-of-the-art data infrastructure that works in a few clicks, without the need of hardcore data engineering. In that way Weld enables powerful analytics and workflows, that can take a company to the next level.
Our first product has been our reverse-ETL product that can easily sync data from a database or data warehouse into SaaS apps such as Hubspot, Intercom or Salesforce, but we plan to quickly expand into multiple parts of the data stack.
We currently have a few companies using the solution, but with your help we plan to expand that!
As a close-knit team of 6-7 people, we're all generalists each with our expertise and constantly picking up new challenges. When it comes to sales, we're currently looking for experienced people who drive things end-to-end and can pick up a given problem and solve it. In addition, we'd like entrepreneurial minds join us, who excels in the early stages of a fast-growing company and who is not afraid of doing what it takes to grow the business - be it outbound sales.
We're headquartered in the heart of Copenhagen, but we're remote-friendly.
You will be the first hire in sales and you will work side be side with our co-founders, closing deals.
You will be primarily focused on both inbound and outbound sales. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from prospecting leads via outbound activities, qualifying opportunities, delivering amazing product demos, converting deals to handing over your deals to our Solutions Engineering team.
Ideally we would desire you to have the following skills:
1-3 years or more of sales experience
Experience with prospecting and outbound sales
Driven by getting Weld into the hands of new customers, making them successful
Have strong empathy and is able to ask the right questions
Understand technology, ideally B2B software products or even data products
A high level of energy, a can-do attitude and eager to be part of a fast-paced startup
