Hey Communicator! Are you playful at heart? MODU seeks a strong storyteller

We are a small company in rapid growth and we design modular building toys for developing kids’ imagination and motor skills. We believe that open-ended play can help create a better world and empower kids to grow up facing life with true wonder. From our cosy office in the heart of Copenhagen, we have a lot of fun sharing our vision and products with the entire world. 

Our marketing team is looking for a strong storyteller to join us. Maybe you’ve studied or worked with journalism or communication before? We hope you’re playful at heart and love to be creative with both the English and Danish language. If you like to take photos as well, we applaud! Your primary work tasks will be centred around communication but in a start-up business, we all wear many different hats. 

Your tasks at MODU will include…

• Produce engaging content across our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram) while following (and developing) our tone-of-voice principles

• Help manage our SoMe activities, incl. establishing influencer collaborations

• Manage our community and customer interactions

• Manage customer service inquires

• Write copy for our newsletters, blogs, ads, packaging etc.

• Assist with ad hoc communication and marketing tasks, e.g. strengthening our PR

Your strengths…

• You are fluent in Danish and English

• You have experience with and strong interest in communication, SoMe and storytelling

• You are proactive and work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment

• You take ownership of your areas of responsibility and bring in creative ideas on how to reach our KPI’s

• You share our passion for playful design and development

You’ll be joining an entrepreneurial team with high ambitions and playful ideals. Our work hierarchy is flat, and your job will be full of responsibility — you’ll contribute with what you love. We eat lunch together most days and have occasional beers on Fridays as well as croissants on Mondays.
