We are looking for a driven and curious person to join our organisation. We need someone who can work with our researcher on projects about remittances and cross-border payments. The role consists of gathering data, conducting interviews and presenting reports. The position will allow you to engage with key stakeholders and to achieve a real-world impact.

Who we are 

Caleta is an independent research and development company founded in 2017. We conduct research and promote concrete solutions for more inclusive and responsible finance at the global level. Our mission is to empower people by enabling access to financial services. We work with all the stakeholders of the cross-border payments industry to reach this goal, as part of the global efforts towards reaching the Sustainable Development Goals. The data collected and generated by Caleta makes unprecedented knowledge available to the industry, which provides new insights and new solutions to existing challenges.

Requirements

• You are studying economics, business, data science or a related field (advantageous)

• A strong interest in research-related activities and a passion for development

• You have an interest in cross border payments and remittances

• Knowledge of smartsheets, data studio and/or excel

• Good writing and presentation skills

• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Advanced English language skills (verbal and written)
