DANISH ENDURANCE is looking for a talented and highly ambitious Head of Finance to contribute to the continuous development and growth of our sales of DANISH ENDURANCE sports and outdoor gear.

DANISH ENDURANCE is a global endurance and outdoor brand within e-commerce. We are a young high-growth company, with a flat structure and a friendly, dynamic working environment. We focus on Danish design and sustainable manufacturing. We develop all our products in close cooperation with Olympic athletes and extreme outdoor adventurers. What can you expect from the job?

In order to support the strong growth, the financial department has to be strengthened and further developed. The main areas of responsibility will be:

·         Monthly, quarterly, and full yearly reporting

·         Prepare annual report with responsibility for annual audit

·         Budgeting

·         Cross border VAT handling

·         Profitability analysis

·         Tax related issues and statistics

·         Handling of salaries for the Company’s 30 employees

·         Development of further automation/API based booking

Furthermore, it is expected that the Head of Finance will play a significant role in the ongoing development of the company and contribute with financial modeling on various business scenarios in close cooperation with colleagues in Jutland and Copenhagen.

The Head of Finance will be managing another employee and report directly to the owners.

Furthermore, you should be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time and challenge and improve the way we do business. It is your target to strengthen and develop the financial department further and ensure that the company is geared for double digit growth in the years to come.  

Qualifications:

·         Cand.merc., Cand.oecon, HD or similar

·         Previous experience with budgeting, accounting and VAT handling

·         Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail

·         Experience with Strategic planning and profitability analysis

·         Understanding of e-commerce, in particular Amazon and other online channels is an advantage

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central is an advantage

·         It-skills and good understanding of online sales solutions are an advantage

·         Fluent in English – we are +10 nationalities

The Head of finance will be a part of a young team of 30 with an entrepreneurial spirit. The team is expected to grow significantly over the next few years.
