We are looking for a passionate Senior Meetings & Event Planner to lead all of our Marketing & Event Planning efforts in the Nordic region.

You love planning in-person & virtual events. You love creating amazing attendee experiences and you're passionate about of how events and experiences can engage attendees in creative ways.

You'll be directly responsible for all our Event Planning efforts in the Nordic region, working alongside a Event Manager in the UK, with support from our Sales teams, Digital Marketing team and Design team. Your primary objective will be to oversee and organise weekly / monthly events & conferences that will make an impact to a target audience. You’ll ensure events are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints.

Your overarching goal is ensure that we activate prospects, generate buzz and build thought leadership through engaging events.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Execute highly engaging and creative Virtual Events (in-person & hybrid will be relevant when COVID19 settles)

  • Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives

  • Defining our go-to-market Event Strategy closely with the Sales Team in the Nordics

  • Establishing the processes and tools you need to execute on the go-to-market strategy

  • Setting up processes to constantly learn and improve the attendee experience

  • Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success

  • Prepare budgets and ensure adherence

  • Coordinate all event planning operations

  • Lead promotional activities for the event

  • Approve all aspects before the day of the event

  • Ensure event is executed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur

  • Analyze the event’s success and prepare report

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar Event Management / Marketing roles

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and team management skills

  • Extremely skilled in project management

  • Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management

  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • A knack for problem-solving

  • Customer-service orientation

  • A team player with leadership skills

  • Native written and spoken English skills

BONUS:

  • Previous experience working with other Event Management Systems

  • BSc/BA in PR, marketing, hospitality management or related field is preferred
