--The candidate must have some basic knowledge of or experience with equestrian sports--
Are you interested in knowing what it’s like to run your own business? Would you like to get a great deal of responsibility in an early stage start-up on a mission to re-invent equestrian fashion? We're looking for a Business Development intern to join our team in Stockholm, work closely with our CEO on many exciting topics including business development, operations, marketing, partnerships and finance.
Founded by two ex-Googlers, ALEQUI is a data-driven mobile first brand with a mission to modernize equestrian clothing and equipment. The equestrian world is mostly occupied by legacy brands with traditional styles that haven’t changed in a long time. ALEQUI aims to challenge existing players with functional clothing, a more modern look and conscious fashion.
We are in the middle of a rebranding process aiming to move away from the traditional equestrian look and position ourselves in the intersection between sports and fashion. Up until recently we were focusing on equestrian equipment only. However, since launching our first line of clothing this summer we noticed an increased demand for this segment and it will be our primary focus going forward.
Work side by side with the CEO and support in various strategic initiatives that help the company to strengthen its market position in the long term
Analyze sales data to see how our different categories perform and plan future inventory
Plan and execute marketing campaigns (newsletter marketing, influencer marketing, paid marketing)
Write creative copy with well thought through execution for social media, newsletters and new product categories
Research relevant influencers and onboard them to ALEQUIs influencer network
Implement and optimize internal processes
Learn to navigate an ecommerce platform (Woocommerce) and manage products, layout, copy
