Service Design / Design thinking Intern

Looking for an ambitious and talented service designer for a financially backed start-up.

In this position you will have the chance to use your full service design skills to influence the end product. We will start from the discovery phase and take it from there.

Through this internship you will be provided the opportunity to showcase your work professionally while growing your professional network. You will be allowed freedom of creativity and imagination to create something amazing together with the product team.

The internship is set to start latest on the 1st of May 2021 ending on the 1st of June 2021, but earlier if possible.

Who would be ideal for this role

• Studying service design or background & skills in UX/UI-design

• You understand how digital services are built.

• You are design driven and user centric.

• Understand the basic service moments and able to focus on the discovery phase.

• Able to use user research collected to prototype services.

• Skill to come up with a service design method for relevant practical situations.

• Good time management and fast learner

• Finnish language skills are strongly preferred (Finnish customer base)

Responsibilities

• Perform the discovery phase to ensure the right approach is being used.

• Plan and execute research interviews under guidance of stakeholders.

• Design the user journey map to help assist us identify vital points.

• Communicate with the team.

• Design the service blueprint.
