The Who, What, Why And Where

We are looking for an individual who is outgoing, service-minded, wants to do impactful work and can take on the position as an Accountant. You will become a crucial part of our Finance Team in a fast growing scale up company and report to our Business Controller, Amel Latif, who highly values ​​her colleagues, will extend support to you combined with freedom and responsibility to perform your best.

Responsibilities

• Daily bookkeeping and reconciliation.

• Overall responsibility with vendors, bookkeeping, payments and reconciliation.

• Manage overall “invoice to pay” management, from the reception of the invoices, secure appropriate invoice approval, to payment and booking.

• Maintain our vendor invoice system, payment management system, and our Credit Card system.

• Review system generated transactions for reasonableness.

• Monthly reconciliation of all accounts on the balance sheet.

• Be the key contact for requests related to Account Payables - inside and outside the organization.

• Be the key of contact to colleagues regarding payments, invoices, credit cards, our vendors, credit card supplier, bank, public authorities etc.

• Support the Finance Team as and when required.

• Develop/Create necessary procedures related to key responsibilities.

Who are you?

• You have a degree in accounting, finance or other related quantitative discipline is required.

• You have proven experience in a directly similar position for 3+ years. Experience working for a start-up company is highly desirable.

• You have knowledge of Danish accounting legislation.

• You have knowledge of Danish VAT legislation.

• You have knowledge of reporting requirements to Government authorities.

• You are a superuser in one or more ERP systems. Knowledge in especially Navision is a plus. 

• You have excellent attention to detail, and you are service-minded.

• You need to be fluent in Danish and English both written and spoken.

• You thrive in an environment with sharp deadlines and take pride in delivering a solid performance and on-time results. 

• You are structured, independent, and consistent in your work.
