We are looking to hire experienced Backend Developers to bolster Blidz’ ranks. You will be working with a senior team of engineers and analytical thinkers. We do not believe in hierarchies so we don’t waste time on activities such as reporting or admin. Instead, we focus delivering solutions.

What we expect:

• Good written and spoken communication in English

• Experience in Python, object databases, sql, etc.

• Experience with scalable server architecture

• Interest in DevOps

• 5+ years of relevant experience

Ability to manage your own tasks, without someone constantly telling you what to do

We have a backend system written mostly in Python deployed into Google Cloud utilizing MemCached, MongoDB, MariaDB and Elastic search. We are currently looking into modernizing our stack towards a more dynamic and scalable architecture and your input would be integral towards that. Our client is a Flutter app which communicates with the backend through restful requests and pub/sub connection utilizing web sockets.

Other experience that we’d find useful:

• Distributed and scalable system design

• Automated testing frameworks

• Security and hardening

• Saas, paas and other 3rd party integrations
