Building a new narrative for technology and investment

The Katapult Foundation sits alongside the Katapult Group with the goal to move people, capital and technology for good. Katapult Group is a group of companies investing in and scaling sustainable impact-focused tech startups. Katapult Group’s founder Tharald Nustad created the Katapult Foundation to gather and further the mission-driven, non-profit activities.

Two of the pillars of the Katapult Foundation are Movement Building; predominantly via Katapult X (katapult.tech), and Impact Investing; delivered via our programmes the Nordic Impact Investment Network and the Nordic Impact Investment Academy.

The Nordic Impact Investment Network works to mobilise more capital into impact investing by supporting Nordic investors. It creates a trusted local and regional community to provide asset owners with support and inspiration for their impact investment journeys. With a very human centric and impact oriented approach, the NIIN helps its community increase the understanding for impact investing, build relationships and learn from one another to drive action and capital flows.

Job description

The NIIN programme manager runs the day to day activities such as members communication and relationship management, partners outreach, and events organisation.  

We are looking for someone that can speak to a diverse audience and be mindful of the different people and cultures that are part of the NIIN and the Katapult Universe. Someone with a human and personal approach to their work, is diligent and self-motivated and enjoys creating meaningful connections. 

Ideally our future Programme Manager will have experience with maintaining broad qualitative datasets, has at least a basic knowledge of the investment landscape and experience working with investors, and of course, someone who can identify with the values of the foundation.  

We are looking for someone who 

• Works with compassion and humility. 

• Has the ability to keep an open mind and voice

• Can maintain quality relations with members and partners and find potential for collaboration.

• Has an eye for details, a strong sense of ownership, you are organised and able to handle several smaller projects in different stages at the same time.

• Has the ability to contribute collaboratively to a team while also working independently.

• Is comfortable working remotely with an international team and different time zones.

Qualifications

• Great communication skills, both written and verbal (in English)

• Experience organising in person and digital events. 

• Ease with working with a broad database (we use Airtable) 

• Comfortable using GSuite

• Ability to create compelling visuals such as invitations, one pagers and slides is a plus.

• Knowledge on website maintenance and update is a plus (both Wordpress and SquareSpace).
