Nordetect is on a mission to improve the way chemicals are used in the food chain. We are an analytical hardware company that produces Lab-on-a-chip devices for environmental and agricultural analysis. With our products farm managers, agricultural service providers, and indoor growers can remove risk and use valid data that is easy to understand and implement to ensure richer harvests.
We’re in the process of getting our products in the hands of customers and are looking for new members to join us on this mission.
The position is an opportunity to be part of our journey to meet the growing demand for creating a safer and transparent food chain and gain experience at the intersection of biochemistry, microfluidics, and instrumentation.
As a business development intern, you will work across the funnel, from generating leads to signing the client. You will work closely with both the CEO and Digital Product Manager to gather and interpret customer feedback. You will be part of our small but dynamic and multi-disciplinary team at Copenhagen Bio Science Park (COBIS). Please note that this is an unpaid position and focuses on gaining experience in the deep-tech business development domain.
Your tasks include:
Conducting customer research in the indoor farming and vertical farming segments in the geographies showing a rapid growth
Lead generation through Google Ads and Social Media marketing
Validating relevant customers and booking product demos
Routine management of our CRM system (Hubspot)
Co-creating a marketing strategy and executing in collaboration with a marketing agency
Preparing presentations and ensuring that internal processes remain updated and streamlined.
Your Profile:
Completed Bachelor Degree or currently completing a Master Degree from a Business School.
Quick to grasp technical and scientific concepts
The ability to explain technical topics clearly to technical and non-technical customers
Experience with or an understanding of B2B sales
An eagerness to engage with International customers and grow with the job
You enjoy taking the lead on workloads and interfacing with other disciplines to get the best job done
You can work efficiently to manage priorities, and maintain timelines for multiple activities
You participate in networking meetings and other relevant events
Fluent English is a necessity. Fluent Danish is a plus.
