ParkShare is a fast growing startup in need of an Innovation Management and Business Development Intern who can help us improve our business concept and strategy and become part of our entrepreneurial journey. ParkShare is a sharing economy platform for parking spaces, where private people as well as companies can rent out their parking spaces when they don’t need them and thereby earn an extra income. At the same time, the parking spaces become more easily accessible for drivers, who need parking. The Innovation team is essential in ParkShare to help shape our strategy and business concept to figure out where our startup should go in the future.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Conducting market research for current and future markets. This includes creating surveys, gathering information online and in person, as well as doing customer interviews. This is done in order to gain more knowledge and expand to new markets and services.

• Improving the overall ParkShare strategy in collaboration with the CEO and the rest of the Innovation team.

• Create go-to-market-strategy for new markets or services.

• Applying for grants, funding, startup competitions etc.

• Occasionally creating and presenting idea-generating workshops in Team ParkShare

Qualifications and skills:

• Open-minded, entrepreneurial, problem-solving mindset is needed in order to see new opportunities and solutions to problems that we might not have noticed before.

• A general understanding of business development and strategy as well as a general understanding of market strategy.

• Independent and good social skills. The Innovation team works closely together but many tasks are also done individually so it’s important that you thrive in these conditions.

• Fluency in both written and spoken English. Fluency in Danish is not needed but will definitely be a plus.

• Studying Innovation Management and Business Development, Innovation and Entrepreneurship or something similar. It doesn’t matter if you come from a university or a business academy, as long as you are a student looking for an internship in an entrepreneurial company.

• Living in Denmark as the office is located in Aarhus and the internship will take place here.

We are located in The Kitchen in Aarhus, which is the city’s biggest community for entrepreneurs, where we work alongside with many other amazing startups. It’s an international and diverse workplace, where knowledge-sharing, networking and fun is an essential part of work life. Every Friday we have a joint breakfast with the other startups from ‘The Kitchen’ to catch up and hygge together. Teamwork and team spirit are also very important in ParkShare. Therefore, we have at least one social activity every month, where we spend a couple of hours to have fun with games, hygge and snacks.  We believe, this makes us a stronger and more connected team.

Working hours are generally from 8-16 o’clock, but we are flexible in terms of hours per week and will adjust it to your study program’s schedule. This also means that if you already have a student job, we will work with you to find a schedule that fits it all.
