We’re currently expanding our business from a local to a worldwide brand and our new DevOps Engineer will be involved in all aspects of this journey: from our intelligent algorithms that help our customers get their customized skincare solution, to finding the right technologies, infrastructure and architecture that will make it possible to bring this experience to anyone in a way that renders access to our services fast and stable. 

Ultimately, you will execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately and securely.

Nøie is based at the co-working space Matrikel 1 in the centre of Copenhagen, Denmark. 

Create a functional and attractive digital environment for Nøie, ensuring a great user experience

 We love new technology and as part of the job, you’ll be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that our community love. Your primary responsibilities will thereby be:

• Implement integrations into our own stack

• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems

• Deploy updates and fixes

• Build tools to improve our internal workflows 

• Maintaining and bug fixing our stack

• Develop scripts to automate data processing, 

• Make data available in APIs

• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

Current Tech Stack 

Backend wise our stack is written in JS and Python and runs on Amazon Web Services and the front-end is VUE based, but we’re open to suggestions. On a day-to-day basis we are working with:

• Amazon Web Systems; mainly Fargate, RDS, Lambda and EC2

• Database maintenance and schema development for Postgres databases

• Creating and maintaining Python Flask APIs

• Containerization of applications using Docker

• Setting up testing and deployment processes for CI/CD 

We are looking for

An experienced Developer and/or Architect with the ability to translate our company and user needs into functional and appealing applications. 

We’d also be really excited if you have:

• Work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role

• A great problem-solving attitude

• Team spirit

• The ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent analytical skills
