We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, creative and experienced Video and Graphics Editor to take our ambitious content strategy and production to the next level. You’ll be using your talent in motion graphics, graphic design and video production to create scroll-stopping, intriguing and bold digital creatives within a fast-growing scale-up, where content production is key to our growth. 

You’ll be joining a group of passionate and talented team members in our Brand and Growth team, and will be working across teams with our anything from our Video Journalist, Content Writer, Social Media Creative, Data Scientist, UX Designer, Developer and many more.

As our new Video and Graphics Editor we expect you to take full ownership of your area, and you’re given the freedom to experiment with and develop our digital content across social media, website and external platforms while following our brand guidelines. We’re not afraid to try new things and we promise you a work environment where you’ll be challenged and learn fast while being given a large amount of responsibility to express your ideas and creative talent. 

Your responsibilities:

• 2D motion graphics and graphic design for our social platforms and digital projects

• Conceptual layouts for explaining complex ideas and experiences within Nøie with motion graphics and graphic design

• Creation of animation storyboards

• Video editing and subtitles

• Assist in selecting appropriate audio, graphic and animation styles for the project

• Take initiative on projects to deliver new and innovative solutions

• Adhere to brand guidelines in ways that still push creative boundaries

• You’ll report directly to the Head of Brand, and you’ll be an essential part of the Brand and Growth teams.

Skills and qualities: 

As well as being super driven, having a desire to develop your skillset and grow with the fast pace of the company, our ideal Video and Graphics Editor will have the following:

Qualities: 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills 

• Ability to comprehend and uphold brand style guidelines, producing work of a suitable style

• Ability to solve an array of challenges through visual design 

• Must be able to mediate creative problems to arrive at the best solution 

• Manage time effectively, ability to multitask and meet deadlines 

• Detail-oriented individual who reviews his/her work carefully. Quality control is key.

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate with a team 

Skills: 

• Adobe After Effects

• Premiere Pro

• Illustrator 

• Photoshop 

Qualifications: 

• At least 2 years of graphic design experience including video production design and animation 

• Strong portfolio showcasing high-end digital design skills
