Gleechi is a fast growing Swedish start-up focused on VR and robotics.
We are looking for a Unity technical artist with 3-5 years experience to join us in world building in VR.
You will join a team of experienced developers while having great deal control over your worlds you build for VR in Unity.
A technical artist is sombody who is normally the bridge between art and code in a gaming or VR company. They understand what is required for good-performance art assets, how to develop well optimised run-time enviroments to maximise the juice avalible from the engine. They understand how lighting and shaders work in a real-time environment and how to reduce drawcalls in an environment.
Main responsibilities include:
Manage and optimise scene enviroments and ensure artists are creating quality game-ready assets and following good standards.
Develop lighting rigs and write shaders
Help develop best-practises, build art pipelines and processes and standardised scene components.
Stay up to date on the latest trends in VR technologies.
Should have:
We think we will be a good fit for each other if you have the following:
3-5 years as a game dev
Strong understanding of how to optimize game environments for real-time
An understanding of shaders and lighting
Production experience
Think VR dev is awesome
Nice to have:

Ability to write custom shaders
C# experience
Shipped at least one AAA game title
Rigging experience, Animation experience. Unity Avatar integration, Unity UI experience
