Experienced Control Theory Software Engineer for Emission Control
Emission Aftertreatment (EATS) Systems, is looking for a SW application engineer to develop new and maintain controls functionalities in an embedded SW environment.
You will be part of many aspects of development and implementation of software functionalities. One part, where we particularly value your experience, is to take advantages of advanced control theory, using methods like Kalman-filter, observers, model based and predictive control.
You and the team will understand the legal and customer requirements, discuss and design robust software solutions, implement and verify the solution. The work also involves maintaining our functionality in our production fleet.
A working day can be both software developments in front of the computer, as well as driving a truck, testing your developed functionality.
As a Software application engineer within EATS Control you will be part of a cross-functional team working in an agile framework. Within EATS control we have two teams focusing either on DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst) and DPF (Diesel Particulate Filtration) area, or SCR (Selective Catalyst Reduction) and UDS (Urea Dosing System) area.
We mostly use the graphical programing tool Matlab, Simulink/Targetlink, but your knowledge in C programming will also be valuable for new development, improve our software architecture and testing framework.
Required skills or Techniques (must have):
University/Master degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Applied Physics, Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent
Experience from controls strategy design and advanced control theory
Experience in model-based software development in Matlab, Simulink/TargetLink
Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
