We are seeking a visionary Sr. Paid Social Manager to take our Paid Social efforts to the next level. As a fast growing subscription service, member acquisition and increased customer lifetime value are essential to our continuous growth and maximizing our efforts on Paid Social is key to our success. At Goodiebox, we have successfully scaled our business to 9 markets over the past 8 years through Paid Social and therefore our setup is, in all respect, fairly developed. We have experience in exploiting the FB and Instagram platforms but also work with Pinterest, Snapchat and Tiktok. Consequently, we are looking for someone to play a key role in defining and owning our Paid Social strategy that allows us to scale even further. The majority of low-hanging fruit has been harvested and hence this job is for the strategic mastermind that eats & breathes Social Media strategy.
Based on the strategy that you define in collaboration with the Director of Growth and the global Paid Social team, you will set new standards for how we exploit technical Paid Social setup (e.g. maximizing our Customer Data Platform and the FacebookConversion API), maximizing the quality of our content production as well as how we increase our targeting effectiveness through customer segmentation and understanding the user journey from A-Z. Lastly, you will be running the Global Paid Social team and therefore need to be confident in team and stakeholder management as we need to create the optimal processes across the company. You will own the global targets and act as a servicing unit for the local regions and be a part of the Global Group Growth Team. In other words, you will be the quarterback of Goodiebox global paid social efforts from strategizing to execution across all markets and revenue streams.
Responsibilities:
Full ownership of all paid social activities in Goodiebox including setting & reaching budgets and targets
Develop the global paid social strategy across all revenue streams (subscription, upsales) and markets
Manage and build the global paid social team and processes allowing us to continue our scale incl proactively upskilling the team to ensure the team operates with industry best practices, develop state-of-the-art paid social advertising techniques and share learnings across different markets
Develop an efficient paid social testing framework incl defining cross-team processes needed for success
Create global and local paid social plan in accordance with the global marketing plan and budgets
Ensure that the global team efficiently execute and optimize global and local campaigns across the full marketing funnel incl optimization, automation and multivariate testing of e.g. bidding strategies, ad objectives, creative formats, landing pages, target audiences, etc to improve CPA at scale
Co-create the global/local processes with the local markets and support teams to ensure efficiency
Implement tools needed for optimal usage of automation within paid social to reduce manual workload
Stay current with paid social, trends, best practices, bid management systems, tools and industry research
Ensure global documentation of all paid social experiments, projects, tests and optimizations
Develop the Goodiebox paid social playbook including testing roadmap
Develop our paid social analytics and reporting framework to create transparency on performance by using data from multiple sources (BM, GA, Amplitude, Segment, Hotjar etc)
Requirements:
+5 years of experience in Paid Social (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, Tiktok)
Proven track record of successfully developed and executed global paid social strategy
Proven track record of building and driving a paid social team
Proven track record of establishing processes to ensure efficient scale
Solid experience in the FB Business Manager and other channels like Pinterest, Snapchat, Tiktok.
Experience in working with subscription services is a plus
Ability to seamlessly work with marketers, creative, product engineers and business intelligence
Strong Strategic capabilities and ability to see the big picture opportunities/challenges but also translate these into tactical execution
Strong critical thinking skills with an analytical orientation and attention to detail
Self-directed with a passion for learning, automating, and sharing knowledge
Accustomed to working in a highly complex environment with many demanding and expectant stakeholders.
