Great design is at the heart of LifeX. Given our founders strong product background, we have relentlessly focused on creating the best living experience from a product point of view.
We are now ready to take it to the next level, by looking for a well rounded designer to join our team and own the design voice as we scale. You will be reporting directly to the co-founder and Chief Product Officer of LifeX, and will have the full ownership of digital and brand identity to put your own mark on LifeX.
We are looking for someone who can work independently on the design of our mobile app, our web app and our commercial website, but also someone with an eye for details and wont be afraid of rolling up the sleeves to iterate on our brand fundamentals, manage graphic design tasks and come up with other creative ideas. You’re passionate about providing a frictionless journey from onboarding to community events, operational services and more from a design perspective. You will be spoiled with great live data on how our members are doing, and have endless opportunities to collect qualitative and quantitative data through surveys and interviews.
You will be working closely with our product and marketing teams as well as promoting good design in other departments. As a designer at LifeX, you should not be afraid to take on multiple roles, as well as inspire and lead the organisation into making great design decisions.
You are organised and structured enough to deliver design consistency and familiar with building and maintaining design systems and documentation.
You’re able to work on a strategic and executional level, and switch between both seamlessly.
You are comfortable being given problems to solve, rather than specifications to deliver.
You are on top of the latest design trends and patterns and are always learning new things.
You are empathetic and open to receive feedback and always focused on understanding and delivering on our member's needs.
You dare to speak up and be honest when you see opportunities to disrupt our product, process, or culture with innovative solutions.
Atleast 2 years of product design experience; visual design strength is a plus
Experience delivering an amazing visual and UX experience on digital products
Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
Experience in both quick wireframes and high fidelity prototypes
Ability to work independently and with others on creative projects
Experience working closely with developers
Experience working with marketing on campaigns
Fluent in written and spoken English
JS / HTML / CSS skills a plus
Content creation is a plus
Having lived in multiple countries is a plus
