Main goal:

You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and timely delivery of our projects from A-Z and coordinating these projects between the consulting team, development team, and technical writers. Additionally, you will participate in strategic planning and prioritization of client projects.

Context:

Most of our clients emphasize delivering a high quality, predictable and consistent value to their customers. This might be through a simple supply chain or a complex set of services.

The way to achieve this is to carefully, in detail design the processes and workflows that are present within the client’s company. These processes can be related to a wide range of different business functions and departments, but nonetheless they all play their own part in generating the final value. Our clients rarely have the time to do this themselves or lack the knowledge, so they choose to work with us at Mcon Services.

Once these processes have been designed by the consulting team, the project gets pushed to the development team, who develop all the automations and features, while they continuously collaborate with the consultants to optimize the processes even further.

When the development is finished and approved, the technical writer creates detailed documentation of all the automations and features.

Next step is to coordinate with the client and arrange the deployment and training sessions (The project manager only coordinates the training, while the actual training is lead by a consultant)

The result: in the end the client has a fully digital and automated process which saves them both time and money.

Position type:

This is a full-time position with flexible billing hours. This means that you will get paid by the hour, but there is enough work for you to work full time and even more. A minimum amount of 25 hours per week is required, but you are free to work more than that.

We also have flexible working hours in the sense that you get to plan your own weekly schedule. You will have to plan one week in advance. As a rule of thumb, the working hours are 100% flexible. You can work in the morning, during the day, or at night – it is up to you as long as you reach the agreed number of hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Participating in strategic planning and prioritization of projects

• Participating in the developing implementation plans

• Responsible for managing the implementation of all projects across the consulting-, development- and documentation team.

• Setting and coordinating deadlines across the whole Mcon team

• Gathering project requirements from the clients

• Defining the requirements for each project

• Main decision maker for technical or non-technical decisions regarding the projects

• Reviewing the work done on each project to ensure that requirements are met 100%

• Scheduling and coordinating client meetings, deployment meetings, training sessions, and other interactions between the Mcon team and the clients.

• Solving communication problems between team members

Qualifications (required):

• Minimum 2 years of IT management experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in using any agile development frameworks. For example:

  • Scrum

  • KanBan

  • Extreme programing

  • Etc.

• Theoretical understanding of following technical concepts (You should not be able to use them, but need to understand how they work and when they are used)

  • Relational database

  • API/web services

  • RPA

  • Excel pivot table

  • Data modelling and data structure

  • Business intelligence

• Understanding of BPM frameworks and methodologies.

  • Ability to read and follow process maps designed using the BPMN 2.0 notation.

• Understanding of the concepts behind data mining

• Fluent English

• Experience working in a start-up
