We are right now looking for an entry-level software developer / a new graduate for an exciting and well-paid project with one of our users for smart manufacturing in Sweden. The assignment is for three months, with a possible one-month extension and a further long-term recruitment. What you will do:

• You will mainly work with developing our client/server core applications (e.g. Node.js/JavaScript and Python/C++ GUI) by using microservices, based upon our design requirements about API gateway, file storage & data exchange, and file dispatching scheduler.

• You will also work with the deployment using docker containers on Debian.

• You will be working with a light-weight development of user authentication & management and SQL-based DB (e.g. MySQL).

• We are kanban-ed, and work from home is allowed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

What we are looking for:

• Entry- (or mid-level) software development consultant

• Good understanding (and experience) in client-server (core) application development on the master-worker architecture.

• Experience in server-side programming in Node.js/JavaScript.

• Ability to write clear, modular, maintainable code.

• Good understanding about simple DB design, realization and deployment

• A quick learner, and we will help you get started

• University degree, e.g. a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a good university in Sweden.

• Our working language is English, and if you can speak fluent Swedish, this is splendid. 

Other information:

• Start: This Feb. (v5–v7)

• Work extent: Full-time, 3 months with a possible one-month extension.

• Location: WFH or STO office (after the pandemic becomes mild in Sverige, e.g. in the end of 2021)

• (Sporadic) virtual After Work activities, and drinks & pizzas are on us.

• Paid business trip to user/customer site, a beautiful town in Sweden (when travel requirements against COVID-19 in Sweden are met. Let’s stay safe and sound at first).
