DANSIC is a non-profit student-led organization that explores the opportunities and challenges of social innovation and entrepreneurship. This year DANSIC21 brings its focus on a collaborative project between the Nordics and the African Continent. Portraying the idea of empowering African and Danish youth, DANSIC will be working in cooperation with “Ambitious Africa”, a progressive organization expanding throughout Scandinavia, to create a case competition on circular economy and sustainability.

As an Event Coordinator you will be responsible for:
assisting the Logistics Crew with various tasks regarding the event planning process;
ensuring that the event planning process runs smoothly and that the program planning matches the end goal;
assisting the Event Design Director with data gathering, and developing cases and problem statements, in collaboration with partner companies;
finding and contacting the jury members and related professionals;
generating ideas and searching for various themes and formats;
coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS
You are currently a student or a recent graduate with some experience in event planning and / or case competitions;
Previous experience or strong interest in sustainability and circularity is a big plus;
You live in the Greater Copenhagen area;
You have a desire to work in event planning, and support social innovation;
You have strong communication and academic writing skills;
You are an experienced MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint user;
REQUIREMENTS
Attend our online weekly Tuesday meeting from 17:30 until 19:30;
Undertake some tasks during the week;
Attend the monthly online social event for all DANSIC's volunteers;
Be a part of DANSIC from winter 2021 until late spring 2021, when our Annual General Meeting will be held.
