We help institutionalized elderly citizens get active and become more independent by using virtual reality and our own hardware sensor to gamify the experience of doing exercise tailored for a demographic that is often overseen. We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic intern to become a vital part of our team by developing content for our virtual reality platform.

We are thrilled to announce that we are looking for a sales and marketing intern to become an integral part of our team and help us begin our growth journey.

Syncsense develops active virtual reality experiences for use in the health care sector, we do this by attaching a sensor, that we create in-house, to exercise equipment at nursing homes, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers. The sensor is in wireless communication with the headset which uses its motion data to gamify experiences for our users. 

We are currently located at the DTU campus as we have been selected to be among the final 12 start-ups in the Danish tech challenge which describes itself as “Denmark’s biggest acceleration program for the most ambitious hardware start-ups.”

We have just brought our product to a level where it is ready to be sold, and we have made our first sales. We are looking to start scaling our sales to the Danish nursing homes and municipalities and experimenting with different marketing and sales channels.

We want you to have an interest in B2B and B2G sales, and also an interest in marketing and SoMe. We do not expect you to have extensive experience with this, but we expect an eagerness to learn and a driven mindset. If you want to build your skills and resumé in the intersection of sales, marketing and start-ups, this is a great opportunity.

We would like you to start mid-February with a work-load of 15-20 hours a week. We expect the internship to last for 2-3 months, and we stress that during these months the intership will be non-paid. We do not exclude the possibility of bringing our interns into the team on more permanent terms.
