Protecting crops from wild animals such as wild boars is one of the biggest unsolved challenges in agriculture. Damages amount to billions just in Sweden, but the problem is global and there are currently no efficient solutions.
Our approach is to use autonomous drones, thermal cameras, AI-based image recognition and cutting edge robotics in order to create virtual fences around cultivated areas. As soon as an animal enters, we detect and deter it using drone-mounted ultrasound emitters.
We've done thorough validation of the market need and are in the middle of testing the feasibility of our solution, but we're still in the "two guys in a garage-phase" and now want to expand the team.

“You” are someone with previous experience in marketing and communication in a scaling company based on high-tech product or service. It would be great if you were also a girl/woman and with a different ethnic background than us, since we think new perspectives foster creativity.
Having experience from the agricultural sector is a plus, but you don’t necessarily have to.
However, you must be a fluent Swedish speaker. To quote poet Erik Axel Karlfelt, you have to be able to "tala med bönder på böndernas sätt".
Flox is still a pre-revenue startup, by joining us now you will be part of the initial team as a co-founder. You will work as a part-time CMO and will be part of the decision table from the beginning, having a great opportunity to grow with the company.
As the head of communication and marketing of Flox, you will be the voice of the company. Your role will be to get in contact with possible customers and build a stable connection between the company and the farmers. You will have the goal to improve the effectiveness of our communication to the world, and you will have the opportunity to develop a strong marketing strategy, in order to attract and create a strong relationship with new clients.

We are looking for a candidate who has already come through the process of growing a startup and has a previous knowledge on marketing, sales and communication.
The person will need to be able to spend at least 20-30% of full time on the project and be able to join us full time, should this be necessary in the future. We want to be clear that this is a pre-revenue startup, so you will not receive a fixed salary, but you will receive a compensation in the form of sweat equity shares of the company.
