We are seeking a visionary HR Director to embody our culture and values supporting our beliefs with strategy and structure. Playing a key role in the executive team, the HRD will oversee all HR. This role will be both operational and strategic with an emphasis on organisational design and talent management. We have ambitious growth plans so strong commercial acumen is essential with a pragmatic and down to earth approach
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
You’ll be responsible for driving decisions on organization design and employee relations for our four offices in Denmark, Netherlands, Germany, and UK. Leading, demonstrating, redefining and even challenging the Goodiebox culture is a top priority.
Employee Relations:
Act as a main point of contact on HR issues creating solutions and solving problems.
Provide coaching and advice to employees regarding day-to-day interactions and interpretations of HR-related policies and processes
Focal point for resolution of disputes, grievances and the investigation of complaints
Regularly review and update the employee regulations to address omissions and maintain compliance with best practices
Optimize compensation and benefit packages and be point of contact for these matters
Organization Development:
Design and manage a company-wide process of organization development that addresses issues such as succession planning, key employee retention and organization design
Manage employee communication and feedback through such avenues as company meetings, employee satisfaction surveys, one-on-one meetings, etc.
Employment Legislation
Maintain and expand knowledge of existing employment legislation and regulations
In collaboration with the DPO, interpret laws and policies and advise within our 4 offices.
Employee Training & Development
Define HR training programs. Provide education and materials for employees including workshops, employee handbooks, and standardized reports
Lead the implementation of the performance management systems including performance and employee development programs
Development of HR Department
Define a strategy for the HR Department- Define roles, responsibilities and development paths
Oversee and manage the work of reporting HR department employees
Recruitment & Retention
Lead and support Talent Acquisition in developing an efficient global recruitment and onboarding process that seeks to identify, recruit, and retain exceptional candidates
Evaluate policy & procedures, introducing improvements with a focus on inclusion and diversity
Budgeting:
Develop HR operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances
Optimize employee salary benchmark
Employer Branding
Define employer branding strategy setting employer brand activities on an annual basis to help achieve recruitment goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
10 + years of experience in Human Resources positions
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or related field
Experience creating and executing on strategies in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Rewards and Benefits & Pensions
Professional expertise –Demonstrated knowledge of relevant Legislation, Policies and Practices, and ability to provide valued support colleagues in interpretation and application.
Employment law knowledge in Denmark/ Germany/ Netherlands /UK a plus
Communication skills – Highly developed communication, negotiation and analytical skills with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse personalities and viewpoints. Emotional intelligence and ability to build relationships and collaborate with others is vital
Coaching and mentoring – proficient in developing skills within the organization
Problem Solver- Ability to investigate issues, identify problems, develop and implement innovative people solutions, systems and work practices
Reporting- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting
