We are looking for a Project Lead to manage our client projects in the field of data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence. In this position you will lead teams of data scientists, developers and consultants in solving our clients’ challenges with the latest technologies, from an idea stage to scaled production-grade applications.

You will be working in the intersection of business and technology, translating complex business issues to technological solutions, and leading teams in implementing the solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven track record in working with data science and/or software engineering projects, either as a responsible team member (such as data scientist, developer or a consultant) or a project lead/manager

• Relevant academic background in engineering (industrial engineering management, data science, computer science, mathematics, or similar) or business administration

• Practical knowhow of some of the following methods and frameworks: Agile, MLOps, DevOps, Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, CRISP-DM

• Conceptual understanding of data science and development principles, with the capability to formulate our clients’ needs into technical concepts. You may have a hands-on background as a data scientist or a developer, or a more high-level background as a business consultant or a project manager, for instance

• Analytical business understanding and passion for solving complex business problems with technology.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written

• Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to control multi-disciplinary and multi-stakeholder project teams

• Fluency in English and Finnish
