Olivia is building a company to support women through menopause, a phase of life wherein 2025, 1 billion women will go through. Today’s society isn’t great at helping women through menopause, and we’re on a mission to change that.

About us

We want everyone that is going through menopause to understand what’s going on in their bodies. By tracking how you feel in the Olivia app, you get personalized insights into your health and advice on how lifestyle adaptations could influence how you feel.

What you get 

As a developer at Olivia, you enter at an early stage in an innovative environment where opportunities are constantly being created and executed. You will be instrumental in developing our menopause program personalization technology from scratch - ranging from the Olivia app to API’s for our business customers. You will work in an agile team where everyone is expected to take great responsibility. 

You’ll be the first developer joining us and you’ll be a critical part of our success, working on what is hopefully a passion project for you too. 

What we are looking for 

We are looking for a talented full-stack developer that has the ambition to build a product that our users love. Ideally, you have worked for an early-stage startup or started your own company before, and have product experience. 

You enjoy learning about new technologies and are experienced enough to be able to assess the relative merits of different frameworks. To be successful at Olivia it’s necessary that you’re a self-starter, can take initiatives, and have a solution-oriented mindset. You’ll receive a lot of responsibility but also a lot of freedom.  You should be someone who enjoys having a lot of autonomy and ownership as you will be wholly trusted to do your job - just like you can rely on all your teammates to do theirs. 

You are the right person if you are:

• Has experience as a full-stack developer with experience in backend, mobile apps and web (Swift and Firebase)

• Have a user-first approach and is focused on building a great product

• Ensuring technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely

• Evaluating and implementing new systems and infrastructure

• Have the ambition to build not only our tech and product but also help us build a great company and culture
