Help build the future of Cardlays Cloud infrastructure

You will work in the development department where we have 3 dedicated teams that deliver platform and functionality to our customers. You will be working in the Platform team reporting to the Head of Platform and you can choose to work from either the Odense or Copenhagen office.

We are a flat organization that believes in Lean, Agile, DevOps, Cloud, Continuous Deployment as well as trust, freedom and responsibility for the team and the individual employee. 

Things we want you to do 

• Improve and manage our growing infrastructure in AWS and make sure it scales

• Help enforce best security practices and automation in that area

• Build and maintain our CI/CD architecture and automate recurring tasks

• Assist our development teams when services are designed and technology is chosen

• Educate us about best use of modern infrastructure

We believe in automating infrastructure and key elements include

• Kubernetes, Rancher, Docker all running in AWS 

• We run backend applications built in JVM based languages and frontends in mainly React and Vue

• We use Git, Jira, Confluence and Slack in our daily work

• Occasional we are using  Terraform, Packer, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana and ELK 

• We use DevOps principles, cloud first, test and version our code - also for our infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Responsible for a stable and secure DevOps infrastructure 

• Ensure appropriate use of technologies so teams can work efficiently

• Together with teams move new features into production 

• Ensure quality deployments together with your team

• Make sure our code is deployable on CI pipeline

• Help the team and department ensure that the platform is stable and scalable

About You

• You have strong knowledge about modern SaaS/IsaS infrastructures  and want to work with highly skilled colleagues

• You are passionate about infrastructure and engage in various communities

• Experience in regulated (FinTech/banking) and/or enterprise environments is a plus

• Experience with cloud deployment, continuous delivery and devsecops is a plus

• You believe in automating everything

• You speak English

• You are proactive, curious and with good sense of humor
