IPRally is an AI startup solving the patent search with a graph-based approach. In the bigger picture we aim to change how technology is searched. We are looking for people who are great at coding. The years of experience and knowledge of a specific technology are nice-to-haves - we appreciate even more a sharp mind and the eagerness to learn. Our stack is modern and simple. We do almost everything with Clojure(Script), and PostgreSQL is the database workhorse.

We are looking for programmers who don't shy away from challenges. You will be building new features to our patent search platform, creating AI-powered UI components, and the microservices they connect in the backend. You can design an elegant architecture and discuss it with clarity with the rest of the team. As a fullstack developer, your main focus will be in Clojure(Script) development and SQL.

One of the challenges we face is the huge amount of data. We seek to cover all the information about technology, and the patents alone are 80M documents. We convert them to graphs, which currently takes a month with 1000 Kubernetes pods.

Our software philosophy comes from Clojure and Rich Hickey: simplicity is good. With such a complex domain, keeping the solution simple is a worthy challenge.
