Movit is a Copenhagen-based online marketplace for moving services, dedicated to developing innovative application technologies that give consumers financial and legal control over their moving service need. The timing

So far we have been able to live without you. We managed to build an MVP in 5 months, launch it, get mentions in Børsen, get our first paying customers (happy customers), while reaching our first month's transactional targets 2 weeks after launch. Now, we want to build on this trend, by expanding our team, with a technical co-founder, who will take us to the next level. Ready to be a co-founder of a company in a 30bn € industry?

Can you build marketplace features to ease the process of moving?

Movit is managed by a team of dedicated, hungry, and skilled founders, whose business experience is perfectly complementary in order to commercialize a well-functioning marketplace within moving services. However, we need a co-founder, that like the existing team, wants to be the best and can work towards creating a stress-free, well-functioning, and user-friendly product.

What do we actually need?

Our MVP has been built by a team of 5 developers and 1 designer. The co-founders have so far been fully focused on product, analyzing empiric, real-life product-market fit data, tracking UX key performance indicators, and establishing product OKRs which would guide us towards our strategic goals.

Now, we need you to take the lead.

We need you to lead our MVP into a fully scalable product. We are looking for developer-level talent, churning out code, and slamming energy drinks to hit launch dates, and not a (traditional) CTO. While being hands-on with programming skills, this position still requires a certain amount of ability to strategically implement initiatives and create roadmaps, which are the results of data-driven planning.

Job requirements:

5+ years of professional software development experience *

Solid experience with Node JS, Python/ Django.

Solid experience with SQL.

Solid experience in Linux environment.

Solid experience with data modeling, business logic

... and ofc, SCRUM!

About the job:

• Paid position + equity. Fully committed from own savings for now, but plan to do funding as soon we have sufficient data.

• We are in Copenhagen. However, we might even give you the possibility to work from Stockholm.
