This internship is ideal for skilled marketing & graphic design students who want to learn and be challenged by a creative work environment. If you are interested in building a network in the startup scene, this is the internship for you!

As our new Global Startup Awards intern, you will be working closely with the management team on a wide range of projects, helping us to get our message across visually on our website, social media platforms, and materials for our national and regional competitions, as well as other Nordic and international events. This position gives you the opportunity to expand our brand through many different platforms.

You will be working with Global Startup Awards, Nordic Startup Awards and Arctic Future Challenge.

Responsibilities

• Content creation for our brands.

• Manage all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) & website.

• Brainstorm new ideas for social media strategy.

• Work in the execution of internal and external communications, such as client newsletters, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, web design, event branding, etc.

• Work independently/collaboratively with management on creative operations, brand development, and continuity.

• Understand and incorporate brand standards in creative elements to ensure uniformity and consistency of the brand in communications in all of our channels.

• Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.

Qualifications

• Love to create, modify and implement new design ideas.

• Ability to translate brand mission and values into dynamic and captivating visuals.

• Comfortable working within multidisciplinary and international teams.

• Rigorous eye for details and well organised.

• Ability to multi-task and to adapt easily to changes.

• Ability to follow style guides, instructions, and critique feedback.

• Familiar with Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat; video experience is a plus.

• Experience with graphic design is a plus.

• Proper grammar usage, spelling, and quality of writing is important in this role.
