Crey Games is a studio full of passionate and talented people focused on making an innovative and creative platform. With over 10 nationalities, Crey Games is a diverse and multicultural company based in two locations: Copenhagen (Head office) & Budapest (Tech team). We are building a new, fast and playful platform for making games, building worlds and telling stories.

Our office is located on Grønningen 23.1, directly opposite of the Kastellet park. The office contains several start-ups and entrepreneurs.

Job responsibilities include, but is not limited to, the following tasks:

§  Maintain and improve the product

§  Develop new user-facing features

§  Build reusable code and libraries for future use

§  Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

§  Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

§  Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end

§  Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

§  Create quality prototypes

§  Write functional requirement documents and guides

§  Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

§  Stay up-to-date with rest of the team, traveling when needed to offices abroad

§  Maintain and improve communication between offices  

Your mad skills

·        Advanced verbal and written English (Clear communication is key)

·        HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

·        Knowledge of JS frameworks and libraries like React, Angular, Vue.js, or something similar and Node.js.

·        Knowledge of SEO technology and SXO practices for web development.

·        Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them

·        Understanding of source control and server environments

·        Understanding of design fundamentals and systems, responsive design, grid systems, front-end frameworks, and accessibility best practices

·        Minimum 3 years of programming experience

Bonus skills (beneficial, but not essential)

·        Understanding of web backend technology (being able to hook up your work with the backend) (.Net, C#, SQL)

·        Experience in mobile web development

·        Experience integrating with a CMS

·        Any Hungarian linguistic skills

·        Relevant education

·        Autonomous and proactive

·        User driven mindset and capability to fill in technical gaps

·        Eye for detail and rigorous testing
