You’re a fast working and experienced designer that has had experience with designing stunning websites in wordpress. You have worked with web builders like Divi, WPbarkey, or visual composer. Photoshop, indesign, illustrator, adobexd, and figma are just some of the design tools you've mastered. You also have experience with html, CSS, and have dabbled in Javascript. If you’re self-taught, you’re above the rest already. We work with a variety of clients and rolling out wordpress websites

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will be challenged to both DESIGN and BUILD wordpress based pages

• Experience with front-end tools like Divi, Elementor, WP-Bakery, Gutenberg, etc

• Hands-on development of our product and website, which includes development of HTML/CSS and web pages based on wireframes and visual designs, and implementation of a variety of web technologies

• Turn Photoshop, Figma, or Adobe XD mock ups into responsive web pages using HTML5, CSS, and Javascript

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

• Thoroughly test your work on multiple browsers and mobile devices

• Demonstrate effective communication with fellow team members and management

• Rapidly prototype ideas in order to learn what works and how to elevate concepts to the next level

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

• Capable of taking feedback and implementing changes without taking it personally

• Demonstrate an understanding of color theory, spacing, and diverse layouts

• Strong proficiency with HTML5, CSS & JavaScript

• People that can find answers to their problems when they get stuck by using Github, StackOverflow, or google

• Experience creating graphics from scratch using Photoshop/Illustrator or similar software

• Experience testing and debugging work on multiple browsers & screen sizes

• Thrive in a fast-paced working environment, owning deadlines and striving for efficiency

• Familiarity with GIT, Jira, Redmine, or similar project management and issue tracking software

• Working knowledge of design principles, typography, user interfaces, mobile pages, and usability

EXTRA POINTS FOR THE FOLLOWING [Not Required]:

• Experience migrating web pages from Wordpress with visual composer (WPBakery) to a static site

• jQuery production (React / Angular bonus) Familiar with JS tools

• Experience writing code from scratch

• Responsive design experience + hand-coded breakpoints

• Knowledge of web analytics and experience implementing and testing tags

• Develop animations, navigation, interactivity, etc., using jQuery or other JavaScript libraries

• API integrations

• Interest in both front-end and back-end work

• Data scraping using javascript

• AMP (accelerated mobile pages)
