Who we are

Vera Mexicana is an international food startup with a base in Copenhagen and California, determined to share the delights of Mexican food through high quality ingredients and products. We are passionate about everything foody, and our mission is to (finally) bring real Mexican food into the European homes in a sustainable and transparent manner. We want to tell an honest story of all involved parties in the supply chain, from those who grow and harvest ingredients, to our partners who produce and refine the products.

We are a young and fast-paced company and the right candidate should embrace changes and exhibit an eternally curious mindset. To help us succeed we are looking for someone interested in making quality food available in a good way. More than anything we want you to be engaged and passionate about what you do, and we will do our utmost to give you a platform to flourish.

Role & Responsibility

-       Research and write articles for the website, SoMe and our newsletter.

-       Help coordinate and execute food events.

-       Communicate Vera Mexicana's story and products to customers.

-       Collect and analyze consumer data to build strategic recommendations for the company

Ideal Qualifications & Competences

-       Fluency in written and oral English is a must. We are looking for a competent storyteller with an ability to passionately communicate about food

-       Strong interest in food and have a drive and curiosity to learn more about new cultures, products, and production

-       Entrepreneurial mindset and an ability to work independently and define and take ownership over own work streams

-       Professional proficiency in Danish preferred but not required. Spanish proficiency a plus
