DroppX is a game-changer startup in the last-mile delivery market. We aim high to revolutionise urban logistics by delivering anything from food to clothes to the door of our customers within two hours. With our faster, safer and fully trackable same-day delivery solution for E-commerce and platforms, DroppX empowers local business owners to compete with Amazon dominance by providing commission-free affordable same-day deliveries.
With our on-demand solution, local e-shops, restaurants and grocery stores can optimise and distribute deliveries in real-time. The core of our business, the Operations Team, is currently looking for a Finnish-speaking intern to support our management and assist DroppX in the deployment of our customer support.
The versatile range of tasks includes (but is definitely not limited to) for example, delivery partner recruitment assistance, courier onboarding, delivery map monitoring and fleet coordination. You will also be responsible for answering queries from our merchant partners, couriers and end-users.
We are looking for a natural problem solver who knows how to get things done and not afraid when something is not going according to the plan. The role is ideal for a student, who would like to gain more experience in a startup environment and has a passion to work with people. We also welcome recent graduates.
What we expect from you:
To be enrolled to an academic institution or have recently graduated (Business, Management or other related field)
To speak fluent English AND Finnish, Swedish is seen as a big plus
To be tech-savvy and to be able to work in hectic environments
To have a driver's license and a car (tasks related to driving are compensated accordingly)
Previous experience in operations, logistics or customer service is seen as an advantage
Key responsibilities:
Managing recruitment pipeline and conducting interviews with potential delivery partners
Assisting with training and onboarding of the new couriers
Being a key member of the customer support: providing excellent service to our end-users and merchant partners, as well as reporting, prioritising and solving problems as they arise
Monitoring the delivery areas and helping our fleet with their operations
Helping with daily operations
Internship timescale: we would like our interns to start as soon as possible and the internship will last until the end of the year. We expect you to dedicate at least 20 hours per week. Part of the internship can be done remotely, but we will be meeting at least twice in our office at Maria 01.
