Copenhagen Industries (CI) is moving into the next phase of our company’s lifecycle, and looking to upgrade our organization with a new leadership team, to propel us into the future. Phase IV is largely focused on taking us from Startup to Scaleup, finalizing our base technology offering (moving from TRL 6 to TRL 9) by maturing the product, as well as building the global operations platform and organization, while preparing our global launch, by securing beta- and post-beta customer base.
We are looking for a visionary, creative and structured Chief Operations Officer (COO), as partner in the company, to oversee our operational processes and take the lead, with our CEO and CPO, on driving Copenhagen Industries from startup to global provider in firearms for the entertainment industry.
You will, together with the management team, define the needs and requirements for the next phase of the company.
The key focus will be to create and optimize our operating capabilities, develop and employ strategies to build and grow a resilient team and organization, oversee our international operations, sourcing and fulfillment, assist in compiling the company's budget, and employ strategies to safeguard assets, and adhere to various often murky and ill-defined, compliance requirements. You will compile financial reports, and control financial policies and procedures. You will team up with the rest of management to implement business strategies, as they are developed and evolved.

The ideal candidate is a previous entrepreneur, who successfully built and exited a product company, and has experience in creating a dynamic and creative organization.
COO Responsibilities:
Work closely with the CEO and CPO to develop and implement strategies pertaining to market, business operations and growth
Overall responsibility for budgets, finance operations / processes, finance reporting and finance strategy including funding raising strategy closely coordinated with CSO
Overall responsibility for operating model of CI including with respect to key operational priorities and development of organisation
Responsibility for managing procurement and production strategy operations in close coordination with CPO
Together with the management team, build the company’s infrastructure and operating capabilities
Work with the CPO on keeping R&D vendors on schedule and maintain the R&D pipeline

Prepare timely and accurate financial performance reports.
Assess and implement improved processes and new technologies, and collaborate with management regarding the implementation of these improvements.
COO Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
Five+ years experience managing human resources, finances, operations and strategies.
Proven track record of create sustainable results and leading other teams and people
Proven track record of managing complex budgets successfully.
Demonstrated experience of scaling businesses and being a part of a leadership team (managing projects, businesses or ventures)
Outstanding verbal and written skills in English, and experience working with staff on all levels.
Customer centric and commercial mindset
