Danish Social Innovation Club (DANSIC) is Denmark's largest platform for social innovation. It is a voluntary non-profit organization run by ambitious Danish and international students and recent graduates, which aids and inspires different actors in society, with social innovation methods and interdisciplinary work.

DANSIC IS LOOKING FOR ITS NEW CREATIVE DIRECTOR!

Are you interested in gaining experience leading a team of volunteers working in the communications field? Do you want to motivate the volunteers of DANSIC and develop their social and professional skills – as well as your own? And would you like to be responsible of DANSIC’s next brand design campaign? Then you are probably the one we are looking for.

DANSIC is a non-profit organization that explores the opportunities and challenges of social innovation and entrepreneurship. This year DANSIC21 brings its focus on the triad of technology, entrepreneurship and design, with a collaborative project between the Nordics and the African Continent. Portraying the idea of empowering African and Danish youth, DANSIC will be working in cooperation with “Ambitious Africa”, a progressive organization that is currently expanding throughout Scandinavia.

As a volunteer in DANSIC, you will be part of an ambitious group of volunteers from various universities, nationalities, and professional backgrounds, all caring about technology and entrepreneurship.

In DANSIC we value creativity, diversity, and peer-to-peer learning. Moreover, we put an emphasis on socializing together over casual pizzas, Friday bars, Christmas lunches, etc.

THE DESIGN CREW

The Design Crew applies to the artistic part of our marketing campaign, generates creative ideas to promote DANSIC’s mission, and ensures the quality of our campaign, being an essential part of our organization. The Design Crew’s role is to make sure that both our organization and the year event gets the advertisement it deserves and always coming up with new strategies. As the Creative Director in DANSIC, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage the Design Crew, and be responsible, with the other volunteers, for the propaganda of our annual activity and that DANSIC ends up with a positive result in the end.

As a Creative Director you will be responsible for:

• Developing a plan for the Design Crew together with the board;

• Planning out the creative part of our campaign from start to finish;

• Determining the overall style of DANSIC21’s campaign;

• Coordinating with the Marketing Director and other team members within the Communications Department;

• ...And more projects if you have any cool ideas!

QUALIFICATIONS

• You are currently a student or recent graduate within field of art, graphic design, communications, photography and/or journalism;

• You live in Denmark;

• You have a desire to work within Design and Communications, and support social innovation;

• You should have a good eye for detail, be updated on social trends and have a creative flair;

• You should be ready to lead a small but ambitious team of creatives;

• Remember, this is an unpaid voluntary position.

As a volunteer in DANSIC it is important that you are available to:

• Attend the weekly evening meeting in your crew;

• Undertake some ad hoc tasks during the week;

• Attend the monthly social day for all of DANSIC's volunteers;

• Be a part of DANSIC from fall 2020 until late spring 2021, when our Annual General Meeting will be held.
