Havinlan has recently come to a new stage of development. We are looking for a great team player as a business development manager who is eager to learn about several businesses and industries, and run our sales like it’s your own starship.

Havinlan is an employment agency based in Finland. Our mission is to globalise Finland by connecting Finnish corporate partners with ambitious and competent international jobseekers and interns.

Our recruitment model ensures Finnish companies to minimise costs and time to hire for better results through a perfect balance of modern technology and human expertise.

Beside matching interns and jobseekers from abroad with Finnish companies, we facilitate the international interns and jobseekers with a wide range of services such as: accommodation, consultancy on work permit, and active support to help our participants enjoy the Finnish cultural experiences. 

Tasks & responsibilities: 

  • Handle and manage sales cycle: lead generation negotiation and close deals. 

  • Contact prospective clients and arrange the meeting. 

  • Build trust and long-term relationships with clients and partner networks across the ecosystem.

  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.

  • Train personnel and helping the team members develop and improve their skills.

Requirement 

  • Passion for startups: the spirit and motto of ‘ WE NEVER GIVE UP’ to chase new business opportunities through cold calls and warm inbound leads.

  • A good attitude, willing to learn. 

  • Some years of work experiences working in companies based in Finland. 

  • Have some business networks in Finland in hand to increase sales. 

Desired skills and qualification: 

  • You should have at least a bachelor's or master's degree. 

  • You should own at least  some of these following skills: 

    • Computer and technical skills to support recruiting efforts.

    • Networking skills to build professional relationships and identify opportunities to connect individuals in their networks with opportunities.

    • Excellent organisational, analytical and problem – solving skills. 

    • Communication skills to effectively communicate with job candidates and managers within their organisations. 

The most important thing to land this position is that you must have a passion for management and entrepreneurship through which you can develop smart and effective strategies to give a considerable boost to Havinlan and make it a successful start-up.
