Playmaker is on a mission for fantasy sports to replace sports betting as the primary way you engage and increase enjoyment when watching live sports. Our first step on this journey is to build a dedicated place (React Native app) to discuss fantasy sports, enabling fantasy managers to own their identity and grow their following. Our investors are a mixture of fantasy sports enthusiasts, individuals instrumental in the rise of eSports into the mainstream and experienced consumer tech angels.

The perfect person:

• Knows their way around AWS, particularly:

  EC2 (Ubuntu, Nginx, Express), ELB, API GW, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, and CloudFront+S3 for assets and static websites.

• Is experienced with Node.js

• Is experienced in working with relational databases

• Is experienced with Git

• Is someone who thrives with autonomy and is always curious to learn new languages/frameworks.

• Feels at ease working in English (that's our company language)

Bonus:

• Has an interest in football/sport and/or fantasy sports

• Is experienced in building game ranking systems and leaderboards

• Has experience in PostgreSQL

• Has a Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
