I am not going to lie, working at a startup means a lot of hard work, for little to no pay, with a 90% chance that the idea you are working on will fail. This being said, being a part of a startup team you will experience some of the greatest personal growth that you can ever achieve in a workplace. If you are looking for something more than just a line on your resume, then Worthmore is a perfect opportunity for you to use your skills to make an impact at an early-stage startup.
Used phones are extremely valuable. In fact, we know that every year at least 1 billion DKK worth of used phones enter the market in Denmark alone. In our research, we found that most people do not sell or trade-in their devices today for various reasons. However, over 95% of people responded that they would donate the value of their used phone, entirely or in part, to philanthropic causes so long as it was easy and transparent. Today, however, there is no platform where this can easily be done.
Worthmore aims to fill this gap in the market and be the platform where people and businesses can easily donate all or part of the value of their used technology to support philanthropic actions we all want to see more of. As a company, we focus heavily on integrating the Nordic values of community, transparency, honesty, authenticity, and simplicity into our mission. This is not typical of our competitors in this space.
By being the company to plan and execute these causes, and showing our users instantly how their device could support them, we believe we can help reduce e-waste while spreading the love.
We are looking for someone who believes in what we are trying to do and wants to be a part of it. We want to share our development with you, with a common vision and values.
That someone would take on the task of creating our first promotional video. The script is done, but we are open to ideas that may pass on our message more clearly. Please note this is a temporary position. You will work on a video project for our launch, next month. Therefore, you will be hired as a part of our team for a short duration, estimated to be between 3-6 weeks. Nonetheless, if all goes to plan and we like your work, we will surely be in touch for future opportunities.

Start-up experience is a plus
One of the most critical questions we feel most startups forget to ask is what they can do for you. We are asking you to share your talents and skill sets that you have built up over the years to make our lives easier and our brand stronger.
For each person this answer is different, but it is our mission as a small startup to provide value to every team member in a way that is unique to them. We believe if you can give us what we need and we can offer you what you want then we are sure to be a good match professionally.
Our team is very diverse, all coming from different backgrounds and a balanced male to female ratio.
