Job description:

We are looking for an experienced manual tester - This is not a QA Engineer position!

A QA Tester performs a vital role in game development: testing, analysing, and documenting, any flaws or bugs. These refinements ultimately lead to higher quality, better playability and higher stability of the finished product. The job involves: testing the product in a systematic way, analysing its performance against the designer's intentions, identifying and reporting problems, and suggesting improvements. 

Primary responsibilities: 

• Plan and execute test cases 

• Test a variety of changes including (but not limited to): Gameplay, Graphics, Audio, Stability, Performance, Net code, Web applications, UI, UX etc

• Investigate and report issues

• Document test results (also when the test fails)

• Daily communication/coordination with both the QA department and developers/designers

• Being in charge of daily deploys to a Live platform with thousands of users

Requirements:

• QA experience (preferably game related)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)

• Strong reading comprehension

• Ability to follow instructions

• Advanced computer skills (PC)

• Keen eye for detail

• Ability to work both independently and in a team

• Excellent time and task management

Bonus skills (beneficial, but not essential):

• Already an experienced builder in Crey

• Strong interest in and passion for video games

• Experience with Jira or similar bug reporting software

• Experience with automated testing

• Experience with testing mobile apps (Android/ios)

• Aptitude to learn quickly and effectively

• Ability to remain focused in a deadline situation

• Ability to adapt to rapid changes in test priorities

• Superior work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
