We are looking for a React developer to join our team. You will be working on multiple React- and React-Native based front-ends as one part of growing, Kubernetes-powered architecture, helping to continue building our Store Traffic platform, which helps retailers to count, track and analyze in-store customer flow. We are a team of five talented, experienced developers who would love to have a skilled React developer.

Who are we?

Cyrix is an interdisciplinary team of software engineers, IT consultants, entrepreneurs and business specialists who share domain knowledge and passion for building products that are part of the next generation of retail solutions.

Our main product is a software Experience platform that supports retailers like car dealership to track, count and analyze in-store customers in real-time. The platform delivers the data in a cloud portal for the management team but also supports the front-line worker's customer profile by demographics, personality, and preference profile.

Our tech stack

Our platform is backed by a Linux infrastructure hosting Python and JavaScript services, along with typical supporting elements such as PostgreSQL and messaging queue. We also manage our own CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins and Saltstack.

We ingest data from the network camera, which is processed by our on-premises video processing, and statistical data are shipped to our AWS cloud server where React-based frontends: a React web portal for the store manager and native iOS mobile application is also built-in React. Finally, we make pseudo-anonymized data available to the front-line workers via an application to support front-line workers in bringing personalized communications and experiences.

Who are you

As a developer, you will continue to design and develop our cloud portal using the React framework. You provide technical expertise in React /JavaScript and develop applications following the requirements. You are aware of standards and best practices, and produce quality code with clear documentation in tools like Confluence. You will be reporting to our Senior Developers and CTO.

Moreover, you are looking for an opportunity to turn your passion for the React programming towards something that will genuinely help retailers to capture more value from customer data.

Your qualifications

You have at least two years of experience in the following technologies:

· JavaScript

· React

· SQL Server

· C#

· Linux

·Unit Testing/TDD

Experience in an Agile / Scrum environment is an asset. Experience in the context of investment funds would be a plus.
