We are looking for a sharp, energetic and detail-oriented Student Finance Manager. You will be the driving force behind managing our financials, and make sure we perform the best possible way, financially.

Role

Working closely with our CEO, the role requires a structured and flexible approach to the tasks in a highly dynamic working environment. Taking on big responsibility from day one, the position requires a mature, and out-going individual, who has the ability to take lead, structure tasks, and has prior experience within accounting and finance. As Student Finance Manager you will be responsible for a broad range of financial tasks within the company and make sure that the tasks are completed within the deadline. 

Areas of Responsibility

• Creating and sending out invoices

• Updating budgets

• Bookkeeping in E-conomic

• Controlling and paying bills

• Following up on payments

• Monthly reporting of the financial statement and report to management

• Payroll and calculation of employees’ pay 

• Keeping in touch with our subsidiary in Kyiv on 

• Close cooperation with our external CFO when needed

• Declaration of VAT

• Optimizing costs

• Preparing materials for the auditors

• Manage suppliers to the office such as cleaning, lunch, etc., and their payments

• Ad hoc tasks and office management 

Qualification and skills

• Preferably studying a Master’s Degree within accounting, finance, business administration or similar 

• Native Danish speaker or professional Danish and English skills (written and oral)

• Relevant prior work experience from similar positions/internships

• Experience with bookkeeping and financial reporting 

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Preferable prior experience with E-conomic

• Easy learner and structured person

• Prioritize responsibilities and have an eye for detail

• Independent, proactive and able to execute 

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a flexible and agile mentality

• A burning passion for finance and the startup scene within technology and AI
