imagiLabs is empowering and equipping the next generation of female technologists by creating exciting tools that teach coding. We are looking for a UI/UX and User Research Intern to join our product development team and bring our mobile platform to the next level.

As a successful candidate you are/have/able to:

• action-oriented and self-driven, able to take initiative

• Passionate about UI/UX

• ability to meet deadlines and to anticipate next steps or needs

•  attention to detail and excellent sense of design

• work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• understand and utilize emerging platforms, 

• conduct UX/usability tests 

• have empathy for the users

Main tools we use:

• Pen and paper for lo-fi prototypes

• Figma for hi-fi prototypes

• otherwise you can get creative with how you prefer to bring your prototype to life for user testing sessions!

imagiLabs has started from a User Centred Design Research project and working with our end users (girls between 10-16) remains at the core of our work. For this role it is important that you are curious, open minded and willing to iterate your work based on feedback from our users!

This is an unpaid internship for the summer period with the possibility to extend and turn the role into a full-time position.
