Textual is a unique platform for text generation that is used by online retailers, such as Babyshop, NA-KD, John Lewis, and Jollyroom to create and optimise product descriptions, category pages, ads and similar content for their websites. Textual also offers translation services for other types of digital and print content such as newsletters, press releases, SOME, product manuals, etc.

We are currently experiencing high demand for translations and are looking for a Translation Coordinator to join our growing team. 

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate assigned translation projects

• Perform on-demand translation, review and QA tasks

• Verify new terms and keep terminology up to date

• Support the Translation Manager in daily activities

• Interact with team members on linguistic matters as required 

Essential skills and experience:

• Understanding of translation industry and CAT-tools

• Experience in coordination of translation projects

• Experience in terminology verification processes

• Proficient user of SDL Trados Studio Professional

• Very good Microsoft Office skills

• Proficiency in English

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written

• Cross-cultural sensitivity and the ability to deal with individuals from all cultures and backgrounds

• Proven multi-tasking skills, ability to work under strict deadlines

Nice to haves

• Degree in Translation Studies, Linguistics, Modern Languages, Communication or similar

• Native or near-native proficiency in one of the following languages: Norwegian, Danish, Icelandic, Finnish, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Czech, Slovak or Polish.
