Who are we?

We’re called Idag and we’re a Copenhagen based and newly founded company with a unique approach to last-mile-delivery of groceries and other products. 

Our platform enables stores to engage customers in the delivery of shelf products to other local customers. This basically means that we don’t rely on trucks and warehouses but use existing local resources. Our approach is both a fast, cheap, and green alternative to other last-mile delivery services. As the first tech company with this focus, our ambition is to be an international service within delivery services. 

And even though we just started we already have a lot of goals! Our first goal is to create a robust and scalable platform that will enable retailers a simple access to our peer to peer delivery model through our APIs. To reach this goal we need a Full-Stack Developer to help us create and mature the platform. 

So, what will you work with? 

As our lead developer, you will work closely together with one of our founders (Bo Overby) to turn user stories into solutions. Some of the solutions will be relying on services like Stipe and others will be homegrown. In other words, you’ll be developing our platform. As our lead developer you'll have a significant influence on the overall architecture and design of the platform. Our platform will be used for complex financial transactions so you’ll be responsible for making sure that we have good documentation. 

You’ll be a great match for the role if: 

• You have a strong eye for details and a strong focus on quality because our platform will have many users from early on 

• You find it exciting to work in a start-up culture with a lot of new projects

• You find it motivating to have a lot of responsibility 

• You have experience with React, Node.js, Next.js, and PostgreSQL

About us  Idag is a part of Tjek, which is a Danish scale-up. Tjek runs some of Scandinavia's most popular apps such as eTilbudsavis, eReklamblad, and Mattilbud. Because Idag is a part of Tjek, you will be a part of a multinational team of +40 people, working out of mainly Copenhagen. Being a relatively small team we’re lucky to have flexible work hours and the possibility to work from home.
