Global Startup Awards is hiring, looking for a Project Delivery Hero intern to join our global team from the Danish office.


Global Startup Awards is the largest independent startup ecosystem competition with the mission to find, recognize, and connect the futureshapers of the digital age, from all around the world.

We are looking for a project delivery hero to help us realize the annual Global Startup Awards competitions and event series we run in 60+ countries in 7 regions, as well as supporting our clients to whom we deliver unique projects, just like https://www.arcticfuturechallenge.org.

We really have a need for someone with a hawk’s eye for details, who can manage multiple tasks at once, never missing out a small detail and not losing sight of the big picture, yet comfortable in communicating with a global network of 200+ partners and clients to ensure all expectations are met. 

What You’ll do

  • Assist the Head of Operations and the team for timely project delivery as well as the Founders.

  • Understand project milestones and break them off to manageable tasks

  • Deliver on all verticals of the project (from planning to managing the competition process to assisting partners)

  • Act as an account manager for external partners from around the globe

  • Competition system management

  • Documentation

  • Reporting

You experience as we imagine:

  • Project manager/assistant experience in a fast-paced and multicultural environment 

  • Working with cross-functional teams on an international level

  • Working with partners as their first point of contact

  • Managing external team members

  • CMS systems 

  • Google Drive, Suite & Products, MS Excel :)

  • General interest in startups and tech innovation, globally

  • Speaking and writing confidently in English (we mean it).

  • If you don’t meet some or even most of the above-mentioned points, but still think you are the best for this job, feel free to convince us :)

  • Oh, and we don’t believe in experience defined by years of age. We believe in hard work, motivation, energy, willingness to learn and develop and to walk the extra mile. We weirdly enjoy working late nights sometimes, but also to have a rest whenever we need. Our heartbeats practicality.

  • Good at balancing stress and deadlines. Our workload is big, you have the muscle for it!

  • Create solutions, not problems 

  • Incredibly detail-oriented

  • Deadlines don’t scare you, they motivate you

  • Quality freak

  • Natural caregiver, you care for the project and people in it and always ready to lend a hand and solve any issue 

  • Prioritize! If you are unsure how to ask. Always ask! :)

  • Be curious and open to learning/figure out new things, research uncharted territories

  • Proactivity is key - we would love to hear your ideas to do better and take lead in executing them

  • When in doubt, ask us always! - after exhausting every option to resolve the matter yourself

  • We are international and open-minded. You are too, in your work and in your personal affairs within the team
