This designer job is not for everyone. At this point we have more customers and projects than we have time, so we are looking for a Design Intern who can join the team and help us grow even more by improving our different applications. ConsortiaManager is a CRM tool with built-in workflow solutions and business insights for libraries. Our objective is to help libraries and universities across the world make better purchasing decisions and to save time doing so; resulting in improved processes and savings on the bottom-line. The system is currently handling more than €750 million of purchases every year.


Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include helping to design and improve the frontend and UX of the system with a focus on creating a high performing, user-friendly experience for our customers. Our core users work with the system for several hours each day; so every detail and every improvement counts.

 

Technical skills

A candidate that we will consider must have…

●       Some experience designing elegant, efficient, and useful website or applications

●       Some confidence in working with Photoshop, Sketch or similar

●       You are confident in UX skills including wire-framing, user journeys etc.

●       An intolerance for ugly web pages and bad UI´s – you can show us examples of things you have fixed and/or would fix if given the opportunity


A candidate that we will consider might have…

●       Some experience with Highcharts

●       Some experience with handling large data sets

●       Experience with visualization of complex data in an user-friendly way

●       Front-end experience is a bonus!

A candidate that we will consider must ...

●      Be fluent in speaking, reading & writing English

●      Take pride in the work they do

●      Have experience working closely in teams

●      Be self-driven and motivated

●      Be willing to learn and adjust as tasks and requirements change
