Social Media Coordinator

Salary Competitive

Empirical Spirits is a flavour company founded in 2017 by Lars Williams and Mark Emil Hermansen. Our mission is to share flavour far and wide and we use spirits as a vehicle to do so. We combine vacuum distillation techniques, fermentation, and unique high-quality ingredients from around the world to create new discoveries through the eyes and palate of a chef. The result of this exploration is an entirely new product that upends the usual classifications applied to the spirits industry.

As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. You will be working closely with the Marketing and Sales departments to develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote our brand. Ultimately, you should be able to increase web traffic and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies. We’ll need you to hit the ground running in this role, and your time management will be second to none. A fantastic communicator on-page and in person, you’ll also be an avid social media user, and you’ll have your own strong presence across all major social channels. Finally, and most importantly, you’ll need experience and first-hand knowledge of the crucial role social media plays in brand engagement.

Therefore, this opportunity is rare and it's not for the faint-hearted. We need someone who is excited to dive into many different topics and has the appetite and ability to work at a highly strategic level while still being close to the details. Since Empirical is a vertically integrated company, deep experience at any step of the way is a big plus. This means, we don't want a pure holistic visionary, but someone who has experience being very hands-on.

If you have previous work experience at a fast-growing international company, that's a big plus, if this experience was within the Consumer-Packaged Goods or even the Food & Beverage segment it is magical-but not a prerequisite. However, you must have the experience and ability to quickly understand our context.

Working at
Empirical

Empirical is a flavor company, founded in 2017 and located on Refshaleøen in Copenhagen. Our approach is inspired by the Empirical method and the belief that knowledge is gained from experiences, our senses, and a desire to explore the world around us. Focusing on flavor, our company uses low-temperature distillation, fermentation, and unique, high-quality ingredients sourced carefully from all over the world. The result is culinary innovations in the world of spirits, beverages and food products. We pay respect to tradition, but want to explore without prejudice, reinventing and mixing things up instead of letting traditional boxes define how we do things. Our team reflects this: it is made up of waiters, chefs, scientists and professionals who are keen to do things in new ways and to work outside of their comfort zones.
